The complex is located in the traditional village of Episkopi 15km south-east of Heraklion airport. Some of the best beaches of Crete are at a distance of 10 minutes drive. At equal range, is the biggest waterpark in Crete. Mythic and ancient sightseeing, old byzantine monasteries, traditional villages, Cretan gastronomy combined with events and fests taking place all year round, are all at a range of a half-day excursion from the villa. Overall, the location is a connection link between the touristic and the true inland Crete.

A wonderful stay. The accommodations were pristine and exactly as in the photos. High end details and extras were greatly appreciated. The host was very responsive, kind and very helpful. A car is definitely required to explore the island but the village offers groceries and good restaurants within walking distance. A wonderful villa and memorable experience for my family of 3 couples. Highly recommended.

Very helpful that Manos greeted us after our late flight to show us around his super maisonette. It had everything we needed for our 10 night stay and was spotless and comfortable. We really liked the village too and would definitely return to stay here. Thanks Manos for being such a good host.

Exceptional

The pictures don't do this place justice. We had the most amazing stay at Anantia. The villa is beautiful and really well appointed, every detail has been thought about. Manos was incredibly helpful and accommodating with a late check in and out and gave us recommendations for the local area. Episkopi is so lovely, walking distance from the villa with some great tavernas for delicious small plates, a coffee shop, pharmacy, and even a little toy shop which our son really enjoyed visiting! Really couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back.

Auch der Gastgeber ist wirklich super toll. Er geht auf jeden Wunsch ein und hilft immer wo er kann.

Die Villa ist perfekt. Es gibt wirklich alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist in einer ruhigeren aber wirklich wunderschönen Gegend, man hat seine Ruhe und einen schönen Ausblick auf die Berge von Kreta.

BEST Airbnb experience EVER!

We've stayed in dozens of high-end short-term rentals, but none as outstanding as this one! If you're looking for a celebrity-worthy experience in a villa straight out of your dreams this is the villa for you! Manos couldn't have been kinder, more accommodating, or more pleasant if he tried! It was challenging to look forward to the next phases of our trip after leaving this 10/10 accommodation! The villa is extremely well appointed with luxury finishes beyond our expectations; from the light-blocking roller shades to the automated blackout exterior shutters to the high-end, LED strip lighting in all rooms and bathrooms there's not a single aspect of this rental that could be improved! Without a doubt, we'll be back, and for the first time in our lives, we'll book our trip around Anantia's availability! Thank you, Manos!
